Daydreaming about Sleeping. (poem)

Rage boils up inside,

sending a shiver down your spine,

A flash of your eyes,

fingers tingling,

the shock of intensity, electrifying,

With shaky hands, you reach,

grasping for honesty in the misery.

You're just a washed up corpse on the beach,

so get on your knees,

pray for forgiveness.

Fortunes mistold pay for your punishment,

why must you tarnish the gold

that shines?

Take pain in your memories,

but don't forget to sleep,

the nightmares will you eat you alive,

just hope that these hands find something

to grasp before they reach your throat.
