Explanation of Where Things Stand

I used to have a blog on Blogger but I didn't like the layout and I wanted a little more diversity and room for creativity. I created an account here on Wix and we'll see how things go. I've decided that it may be interesting for me to document some of my travels, poems, thoughts, and whatnot on a blog. Maybe people will read it, maybe they won't. I've always been fascinated by going back to read things I've previously written to assess where my thoughts are, where they were, how I've grown, and how I've remained the same. I want a forum where I can discuss whatever is on my mind and I appreciate and am open to feedback. I'll probably have a link or something on here so readers can leave suggestions, thoughts, comments, etc.

Often times as a woman, we think that we need permission to do our best and strive forward but greatness wasn't achieved by anyone through niceties and being "allowed" to do something. Greatness is achieved by pushing yourself to be all you can be, breaking barriers, and learning to be yourself/love yourself. Only you can define your vision of greatness, don't let others do it for you.
